Can't come to the museum for a field trip? Let us come to you! The Traveling Trunk program is a new and exciting educational opportunity from MCMA, designed to reach out to schools, organizations, and the community through art.
A Traveling Trunk representative will work with your curriculum or lesson suggestions to design a custom lesson plan based on a subject of your choice. All of our Traveling Trunk representatives are state certified art teachers who volunteer their time to the museum. The Traveling Trunk program is flexible in designing lessons for any age group, from infants to adults. The Traveling Trunk program at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is a grant-sponsored program, which subsidizes cost so that we are able to present the program to your school or organization with the suggested donation of $1 or more per participant. All of the proceeds from this program will directly benefit the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art’s Education program.
