Ceramics Camp
for Ages 7-10 & 11-15, June 10-14, 9am - 3pm
Fee- $150 for Members / $175 for Non-Members
This week, it's all about clay! Get your hands dirty and fire it up with this ceramics class, focused on teaching hand building and wheel throwing. Campers will create projects using various methods of pottery making.
Folk Art Safari Camp
Week 1: July 8-12
Campers will love this animal themed art camp, which focuses on different types of folk art. Students will adopt the styles of famous folk artists to create their own original animal works! Campers will learn art history, drawing, painting, sculpture, and so much more. Let your child go wild and join us!

United States of Creativity Camp
Week 2: July 15-19
Satisfy your child’s inner curiosity in this American art themed camp! Covering topics ranging from outer space to pop art, kids will enjoy exploring history, art, and culture! With the many varieties of art covered, there won’t be a dull moment!

That’s Art?! Camp
Week 3: July 22-26Explore the different types of unconventional art in this fun camp! Campers will learn about things like conceptual art, street art, and comic book art (just to name a few!). Students will use all sorts of traditional and unusual art materials to create their own original works! Stimulating discussion will allow campers the foundation to begin explaining why “that’s art?!”

MCMA Aftercare Program $20 a day
All ages, 5-11 / 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. / $20 a day
MCMA is proud to introduce our new Monday through Thursday Aftercare program for summer campers! Campers will watch a different G-rated movie each afternoon, with the opportunity to free draw. Snack is included!

Other Summer Camp Information
Camp Exhibition:
6:00 pm- 7:00 pm the Friday of that week's camp except for ceramics camp, which is TBD (because of glazing and firing times). Your child's work will be on display at the museum! This is free and open to all friends and family members. Cookies and punch will be served.
Snack:
Children may pack a small, nutritious snack. ALL children should bring a refillable bottle for water.
Lunch:
Children staying for a full day of camp will eat lunch at Noon. Please pack a lunch. Lunches are not provided by MCMA.
Important Allergy Information:
MCMA's Summer Camps are peanut-free due to some severe peanut allergies. Any child with peanuts in their lunches will have the lunch confiscated and parents will be responsible for bringing a different lunch. Please remind your children to not share food and to wash their hands before and after they eat.
What Campers Should Wear:
Please send your children in clothes that you don't mind getting VERY dirty! Closed-toed shoes are recommended.
Cell Phone Policy:
Cell phones are not permitted at Summer Art Camp. MCMA reserves the right to confiscate phones and return to parents at the end of the day. Phones are available in case of emergency.
