All submissions must be the original work of the artist
completed without the aid of an instructor. Artwork may
not be a copy of another artist’s work.
ENTRY FEE: $25.00 for a maximum of 3 works.
Late entries will not be accepted. Non-refundable checks
made payable to: NLAPW (Atlanta)

SUBMISSIONS: Selection of works will be chosen from 2” x
2” mounted 35 mm slides, or digital entries (JPG or TIF 300
dpi, 1200 pixels plus the title of the piece). Only one slide
or digital image should be submitted for each 2-dimensional
work, though multiple entries can be placed on one CD. A
maximum of 3 slides or digital images may be submitted for
each 3-dimensional work. Each slide or disk must be labeled
with name, title, and medium; each slide must indicate the
top of the artwork. Maximum size of entry is 60” x 60” x 48.”
Any accepted artwork that differs from the slide or digital image
will be disqualified. Include SASE for return entries.
CONDITIONS:
• All entries must be original work.
• Work must have been completed within the last 3 years.
• Works previously shown at the MCMA are ineligible.
• All 2-D work must be framed appropriately and ready
to hang with a wire of adequate strength. Damaged
frames and sawtooth hangers not accepted.
SIZE LIMITATIONS:
Two-Dimensional: Maximum: 48” X 48” •
Three-Dimensional: Maximum: 45 pounds and not •
greater than 60” in any direction.
Installation assistance is required with any piece over
25 pounds.
SCHEDULE:
August 28, 2009
Entry fees, slides, CDs, and photographs must be received by
Sherry Needle.
September 17, 2009
Notification of acceptance or rejection sent by mail.

All art work must be received at the Marietta/Cobb Museum
of Art, 30 Atlanta Street, Marietta, GA 30060 between 11 a.m.
and 4 p.m.
January 9, 2010
Exhibition opens. Artist reception with awards presentation.
March 13, 2010
Exhibition closes. Art work must be picked up on March 16,
2010 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
SALES: All works submitted must be priced. A 30%
commission will be taken on all sales.
