Artists' Market

A Local Artisan Marketplace

We have recently turned our Gift Shop into an Artists’ Market for metro-Atlanta artists. We currently have on display paintings, a few pieces of sculpture and event hand-made note cards.  We will be rotating artwork periodically, so be sure to stop by and see what is new.  We are always on the lookout for new pieces.  Please contact us if you or anyone you know  is interested in possibly displaying artwork in our Artists’ Market.

We are now offering advertising space to all Artists' Market participants in our Newsletter and Gallery Guide at a very low cost.  For as little as $20, you will receive ad space in our newsletter as well as featured space on our website for 3 months.  For an additional, $10, ad space can be placed in our Gallery Guides for approximately 2 - 2 1/2 months depending on the current exhibition length.

Artists will benefit by being able to have more than one piece of artwork displayed in the newsletter and on the website, as well as, a biography and/or photo.  You also have the opportunity to offer discounts to potential buyers.  Being online will help you reach a larger audience, too!!

Bridge to Community Art Project
sponsored by Cobb/Douglas Community Services Board

This program was started by the Cobb/Douglas Community Services Board for clientele with Developmental Disabilities in July of 2000. The participants take part in all aspects of the program from purchasing to designing to delivery of the art projects. They earn 60% of the sale price with the remaining 40% going to replenish supplies.

Fused glass work is expensive to make but one of the most ancient glass forming techniques. It is fully functional but truly belongs on display.

Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is proud to support this program and all proceeds from the sales go to the Community Art Project.

Additional information about this program is available upon request.
